Ronnie Johnson
Ronnie Johnson is a husband, father of 3, and grandfather of twins. A Charlottean, born and raised. He has been drawing since the age of 9. In junior high and high school, he only drew sports cars.

He later attended Winston-Salem State University and received his B.A. in Fine Arts & Studio. There, he fell in love with painting Portraits.
​
"I love doing portraits of people enjoying themselves and having a good time."
​
Ronnie has been doing commissioned work for the last 30 years for family, friends, and co-workers. His first love is oil painting because of the way it mixes and blends so well together. The other mediums he uses are acrylics, pencils, colored pencils, and pastels.
​
Now, at the age of 63, Ronnie is preparing for some of his first exhibitions.

"I look forward to having a great time and hopefully selling some pieces. I have yet to receive any awards but look forward to the day when I do."
